The morning started out pretty well, and then it got even better when I saw that the Cards and the Reds engaged in a dugout-clearing-brawl! Check out the video here: http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=10812129&topic_id=8877984&c_id=stl
We know that NBA 2K11 and NBA Elite 11 are both coming out in about a month, so that's really exciting. NBA Elite has totally revamped their controls, making it able to control a players feet and shoot arm; it seems really complicated. 2K, on the other hand, is seeming to still rely on graphics and simulation, but in the past few years their gameplay was also a bit more realistic. Just a few things to fix:
1. Give players more accuracy on passes. Players could not really make any good passes, they often threw it above the player they were trying to pass to, or threw it way off balance.
2. Improve the game so that it knows who you are trying to pass to. Of course, you could always push a button depending on what console you have to choose a player to pass to, but if you didn't want to do that in 2K10, the game wouldn't feel fluid. You would just feel lucky and relieved if the pass was actually correct.
3. Improve the graphics. Yes, we all know that the graphics in last years 2K10 were the best of any basketball game ever, but we still want the graphics to get better every year, and make it feel like its more of a basketball game.
4. My Player Mode still needs some updates. It didn't utilize Living Rosters, so if you were in My Player Mode in 2K10, Lebron would still be on the Cavs. 2K should also fix the minor glitches in the game.
Anyways, a pretty long blog post, but nontheless an informative one. Remember, in a month check out the 2K10 and Elite videos, we'll have them up
